Monreal IT Cookie Declaration
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and tracking scripts) used on monrealit.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
When you first visit, our consent banner asks you to choose which categories you accept. Until you do, nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories loads. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Privacy choices button that appears on every page once you have made a choice, or by clearing cookies and site data in your browser.
Purposes
We group the technologies we use into four purposes, which match the four categories in our consent banner: Necessary, Functional, Analytics and Marketing. Each one can be turned on or off separately.
Strictly necessary: remembering your choices
Why: To record the consent choices you make, so we can honor them on every page and on later visits. This category does not need consent and cannot be turned off, but it stores only your preferences, never tracking identifiers.
Provider: SiteTrust, our consent management provider.
What it stores: Your consent choices (functional, analytics and marketing, each on or off) and the standard consent signal used by advertising platforms.
Functional: features you choose to use
Why: To provide features that make the site work better for you, such as booking a meeting. These load only after you allow Functional cookies. This category is on by default if you choose "Allow selection", and it can be turned off.
- Meeting scheduling (Calendly): after you submit the Compatibility Check form, we offer to book a meeting. If you have allowed Functional cookies, an embedded Calendly scheduler loads on that page, pre-filled with the name and email address you just entered, and Calendly may set its own cookies. If you have not, we show a plain link that opens Calendly in a new tab. Nothing from Calendly loads before you submit the form. See the Calendly privacy notice.
Analytics: understanding how the site is used
Why: To learn which pages are useful, how people move through the site, and where they get stuck, so we can improve it. These tools load only after you accept Analytics cookies.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): counts visits and measures which pages, sources and devices bring people to the site and what they do next. It may collect your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): records how visitors use pages to help us find usability problems. It collects clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, session recordings and heatmaps along with device and browser details and your IP address. A session recording is a replay of how a visit unfolded on the page, so it can show what you click and where you pause. Microsoft acts for us in providing this service.
Marketing: measuring and delivering advertising, and understanding company interest
Why: To measure how well our advertising performs, to show Monreal IT ads to people who have visited our site on other websites and platforms, and to understand which businesses are interested in our services. These tools load only after you accept Marketing cookies.
- Google Tag Manager (Google LLC): a container that loads the advertising tools below. It loads only after you accept Marketing cookies.
- Google Ads conversion measurement (Google LLC): tells us when a Google ad led to a completed Compatibility Check form, so we can judge ad performance. No form answers or contact details are included in the measurement event.
- AdRoll (NextRoll, Inc.): measures advertising performance and shows our ads to people who visited our site. AdRoll works with a network of advertising partners, which is why you may see cookies from additional advertising domains once you accept Marketing cookies (see the table below).
- Snitcher (Snitcher B.V.): uses your IP address and browsing activity on our site to estimate which company or organization a visit came from, so we know which businesses are interested in our services.
Cookies and storage we observed
The list below shows what the site sets once the matching category is accepted, as observed in October 2026. Browsers can shorten lifetimes, and providers (especially advertising partners) can change names and durations without notice, so treat this as a guide rather than a guarantee.
Your choices
- Change or withdraw consent: use the Privacy choices button that appears on every page once you have made a choice (until then, the consent banner is shown). You can turn Functional, Analytics and Marketing on or off independently. Changes apply from your next page load. Cookies already stored may remain until they expire or you clear them in your browser.
- Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking everything may affect parts of the site, such as meeting scheduling.
- Advertising opt-outs: you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative or Digital Advertising Alliance tools, and manage Google ads through Google Ads Settings.
- Do not use Google Analytics: the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on blocks it on every site.
Providers and vendors
Each provider handles data under its own policy. Our consent banner links to the entries below.
- SiteTrust: our consent management provider. It shows the consent banner and records your choices, which is why it is the one provider that loads before you choose. See the SiteTrust privacy policy.
- Calendly: the meeting scheduler offered after you submit the Compatibility Check form. It loads only after you allow Functional, and is pre-filled with the name and email address you entered. See the Calendly privacy notice.
- Other (first-party cookies and storage): cookies and browser storage that Microsoft Clarity and Snitcher set under monrealit.com itself, so a site scanner cannot attribute them to a named provider. They are listed in the table above (names beginning
_cl,snitcher_andradar_sn_, plusCLID,MUID,MR,SM,SRM_BandANONCHK). They are not strictly necessary: Clarity's load only after you allow Analytics, and Snitcher's only after you allow Marketing. - Google Analytics: measures website traffic, user behavior and page performance, loaded only after you allow Analytics. See how Google uses cookies.
- Google Ads: measures how our Google ads perform by recording when an ad click leads to a completed Compatibility Check form. It does not receive your form answers or contact details, and runs only after you allow Marketing. See how Google uses cookies.
- Google Tag Manager: a container that manages our advertising and conversion tags, including Google Ads conversion measurement, AdRoll and Snitcher. It loads only after you allow Marketing. See how Google uses cookies.
- Microsoft Clarity: session recordings and heatmaps, loaded only after you allow Analytics. Legal basis: consent. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- AdRoll (NextRoll, Inc.): measures the performance of our advertising and shows Monreal IT ads to people who visited our site, loaded only after you allow Marketing. See the NextRoll privacy policy.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.): loaded by AdRoll's pixel, not directly by our site, and only after you allow Marketing. It lets Meta measure ads and match visitors to its platforms. See the Meta Privacy Policy.
- Snitcher (Snitcher B.V.): estimates which company or organization a visit came from, loaded only after you allow Marketing. See the Snitcher privacy policy.
For how Monreal IT handles your information more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
